Getting lucky with Larry Tribe

May 15, 2008

tribe.jpgThe famous Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe has apparently given a strange commencement speech at NYU, the highlight of which was his exhortation that students thank their parents for “doing it” rather than watching TV on the night of their conception. Above the Law has a clip from the speech here.

Think of all the awkward conversations that could be taking place all over Manhattan this afternoon if the graduates follow his advice. I don’t suppose they make a Hallmark card for this?

At least the NYU grads will likely remember what their commencement speaker said. I doubt most people can claim that.
