<description>This man has no right to suggest a law regarding somthing he appearently knows nothing about. Smoking, in any form, is a personal choice. To some, it is part of culture, like myself. Its easy for non smokers to simply come up with ideas to prevent or disrupt this practice that has been enjoyed worldwide since nearly the begginning of civilization. On his topic of young people, this will have no affect. Young people will chose what they want to try and learn what they see as the affect. Some will continue to enjoy smoking, others will know from experience that it is not something they wish to do, either is fine and is a personal decision. If this man knew anything about history of this matter than he would know that this is useless and that people would find an alternative means to take part in what they enjoy. It would go as far as people carving and glassblowing etc. there own tools for smoking, which i would like to see, its quite creative. I have made several peices over the years and use them daily, and that will not stop. To me, this is just another way the "leadership" can exploit and profit off of a cultural, peacefull, ritualistic activites. And EVERYONE knows about the health affects. Cancers gonna get you if you smoke, dont smoke, oh no! Just sit in front of your television set or carry on in your zombie like 9 to 5 without any individual choice about what you do on the free time that you "earned". Yes, smoking is proven to increase chances of getting cancer and kills people every year, we see signs everywhere. They think that we are unaware or if we knew the fact we would stop. Ha! Then why do people continue to smoke? Because they choose to knowingly, and enjoy it. At 18, a person can decide that for themselves. Its simple, if you dont want to increase your chances of getting cancer or just dont like smoking......The just DONT SMOKE. But leave the rest of us alone. Im already sick of so many things that are twisted in american society today, this is the cherry on top. I dont mean to sound like a loudmouth, but i beleive i speak on behalf of a giant population who feel the same way. So thank you Mr. Muse, if your bill gets passed, the biggest thing that will probobly happen is you will piss a lot of hardworking people off, and spark a whole new underground movement, you politicians should be keen to that by now though. P.S. Does anyone else think this is remarkably insignificant and should be the least of our issues with everything else going on these days, and there worried about people smoking and their health when there sending boys and girls bareley old enough to smoke to go die in a rich man's war? funny
